What each column means
- VPN provider
- The service and selected subscription. Open the provider page for its sources and terms.
- Jurisdiction
- The legal jurisdiction of the provider, not the location of your VPN server. It helps explain which legal requirements may apply; it is not a security score.
- Logs and audit
- Read the privacy policy and the auditor, year and scope. An audit is a snapshot and does not guarantee future behaviour.
- Devices at once
- The documented number of simultaneous VPN connections, which may differ from the number of devices where you can install an app.
- Protocols
- Documented connection technologies. Availability varies by app and platform; a longer list is not a speed or security score.
- Kill switch
- Blocks traffic if the VPN disconnects. Check your app settings and the supported platforms.
- Price and checkout
- The initial invoice covers the full first term. A monthly equivalent is that invoice divided by all included months. Renewal and tax are shown separately.

VPN price questions
Are these converted Dutch prices?
No. This version only accepts USD observations collected for United States. We never convert Dutch EUR prices into a local offer.
What if a local price cannot be verified?
The provider remains in the comparison, with a clear indication that its local checkout price has not yet been verified. Missing tax and renewal amounts are never filled in.
Does the monthly price mean monthly billing?
Usually not for a long subscription. A monthly equivalent divides the first invoice by every included month. The full invoice is normally paid upfront.
How is tax handled?
Sales tax can depend on your billing address. A country-level USD observation is not treated as a tax-inclusive final invoice. Check your state and ZIP code with the provider.
How fresh are the prices?
The scheduled price worker attempts a fresh observation every six hours. A failed attempt never refreshes an old observation date; prices disappear after 72 hours.
Does commission change the order?
No. Provider name is the default order. Price sorting uses only confirmed tax-inclusive first invoices; we do not publish a fabricated overall score.
